| Larsen & Toubro secures Rs 15,000 crore "Mega" project from NTPC for Chhattisgarh thermal power plant |

| Larsen & Toubro Ltd. is currently down 0.56% to Rs 3909.5, after recently rising and gaining 3.09% over the last one week.
Larsen & Toubro’s Energy CarbonLite Solutions has secured a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) from NTPC Ltd. for the main plant package of the 2x800 MW Lara Stage-III thermal power plant in Chhattisgarh, involving the construction of two ultra-supercritical generating units. The project, classified as "Mega" with a value exceeding Rs 15,000 Cr, encompasses design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of key components and associated works on an EPC basis. Once commissioned, the plant will add 1,600 MW of power generation capacity to India’s grid, and the award marks L&T’s third ultra-supercritical project from NTPC in the past two years.
Trading volume reached 3.4 lakh shares today, a decrease of 73.36% compared to the one-week average volume. Larsen & Toubro Ltd marginally improved 6.67% year-over-year, outperforming the 2.3% loss registered by the NIFTY50 index. |
