| Quick Wrap: Nifty Metal Index falls 2.71% |

| Nifty Metal index closed down 2.71% at 11478.2 today. The index has slipped 14.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Hindustan Zinc Ltd dropped 4.25%, Vedanta Aluminium Metal Ltd fell 4.19% and NMDC Ltd shed 3.67%. The Nifty Metal index has soared 12.00% over last one year compared to the 12.71% slide in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Consumer Durables index has dropped 2.63% and Nifty Realty index has slid 2.38% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has declined 0.39% to close at 22600 while the SENSEX has slid 0.17% to close at 73123.83 today. |
