| Quick Wrap: Nifty IT Index gains 2.88% |

| Nifty IT index ended up 2.88% at 32422.5 today. The index has gained 12.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Wipro Ltd rose 3.86%, Infosys Ltd gained 3.30% and HCL Technologies Ltd added 3.21%. The Nifty IT index has fallen 8.00% over last one year compared to the 11.82% slide in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty MNC index has dropped 2.10% and Nifty Consumer Durables index has dropped 1.86% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 0.34% to close at 22811.35 while the SENSEX has slid 0.19% to close at 73709.69 today. |
