Gold drops ahead of US Inflation data Back

Gold fell below $4,400 an ounce on Monday due to a stronger dollar and rising expectations of tighter Federal Reserve policy after strong US jobs data. The market is now watching for this week’s CPI and PPI releases, which could influence the Fed's September policy direction. Elevated oil prices from US-Iran tensions are increasing inflation worries, adding pressure on gold. MCX October gold stayed near ?1,52,924 per 10 grams as investors considered various factors.
