China market closes lower as investors kept abeyance Back

Chinese stocks closed lower on Friday as investors remained cautious before key economic data is released next week. The Shanghai Composite decreased by 0.30% to 3,930.1, and the Shenzhen Component fell by 0.79% to 13,517. Investors are closely monitoring trade and inflation figures for insights into China's economic recovery. Recent PMI data indicated some improvement, but worries about weak domestic demand persist. Technology stocks faced significant losses, with Cambricon Technologies down 2.54% and WUS Printed Circuit declining 4.23%. For the week, the Shanghai Composite dropped 0.56%, and the Shenzhen Component fell 3.13%.
