China Stocks drift lower as Tech shares downperform Back

Chinese stocks fell on Monday, led by a selloff in technology shares. The Shanghai Composite decreased 0.59% to 3,882, and the Shenzhen Component declined 2.13% to 13,794.3, both at their lowest in nearly three weeks. Concerns over fundraising plans by Alibaba and Yangtze Memory Technologies pressured tech stocks. Major decliners included SMIC and Cambricon Technologies. Investors are cautious ahead of earnings reports from BYD, PetroChina, CNOOC, and Eoptolink.
