China Stocks settle mixed Back

On Friday, China's stock markets had mixed results. The Shanghai Composite stayed flat at 3,927.2, while the Shenzhen Component increased by 0.45% to 14,354.3. Semiconductor and AI-related stocks rose, driven by SMIC's significant profit increase. However, Hua Hong Semiconductor's shares dropped despite strong earnings. Investors reacted cautiously to new US tariffs on drone imports. For the week, the Shanghai Composite fell by 0.33%, while the Shenzhen Component rose by 0.30%.
