Tech shares lead the brunt as Chinese market progress Back

Chinese stocks rose on Wednesday, with the Shanghai Composite increasing by 0.32% to 3,946.7 and the Shenzhen Component up by 1.09% to 14,414.4. Technology stocks led this rise after positive results from US companies CoreWeave and Super Micro Computer improved investor sentiment. Investors are awaiting earnings from Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp. (SMIC) on Thursday, which may indicate chip demand. Notable gains included Cambricon Technologies at 1.35%, SMIC at 2.03%, Zhongji Innolight at 3.48%, Eoptolink Technology at 3.11%, and NAURA Technology at 1.86%.
