| COMEX Gold futures surged recently due to a weak US dollar and strong buying support, rising above $4000 per ounce. Currently, gold is trading up 0.56% at $4329 per ounce, marking a 3.70% increase from the previous day and reaching a seven-week high. The US dollar index is around 99.60, impacted by a weak labor market. The US private sector added 44,000 jobs in July, a decline from a revised 95,000 jobs in June. MCX Gold futures are up 0.70% at Rs 149538 per 10 grams, having peaked at Rs 149700 per 10 grams.
