Hong Kong stock market finished higher second straight session on Thursday, 02 December 2021, as investors continued bottom fishing on oversold shares after the city's benchmark gauge sank to a 14-month low earlier this week. However, market gains capped amid fears about omicron variant and concerns of the Fed speeding up tapering. At closing bell, the benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 0.55%, or 130.01 points, to 23,788.93. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index added 0.95%, or 80.12 points, to 8,506.36. Shares of property developers led the index gainers.
