MCX Copper futures are are in the red, lower by 1.28% at Rs 1377 per kg right now. The counter was marginally lower by 0.30% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures dropped to an intraday low of Rs 1395 per kg today and have seen an increase of 2.68% in the open interest. US equities are lower with Dow Jones Industrial Average is moving lower by 0.69% on the day.MCX Copper is slipping for third consecutive session.

In other metals, Aluminium is up 0.23% at Rs 330 per kg, Nickel is significantly lower by 2.08% at Rs 1456 per kg, Zinc is modestly lower by 0.57% at Rs 407 per kg while Lead is slightly lower by 0.26% at Rs 195 per kg.

MCX Zinc has risen around 3.91% in the last one week followed by Copper, which is up around 1.84%.
