Natural Gas surging, Crude Oil up 0.59%

MCX Crude Oil futures are in positive territory today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Nov-26 contract is trading marginally higher by 0.59% at Rs 9083 per barrel. US equities are firm with Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing 1.01% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 9084 per barrel today and have seen a sharp increase of 10.64% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is up for third consecutive session. The counter gained 1.42% in the day session till 6.00 PM.


MCX Natural Gas is substantially higher by 2.20% at Rs 311 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 306-316 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter fell sharply by 21.68%.


Crude Oil has climbed 6.16% in the last one week while Natural Gas has slipped around 1.94%.
