Gold in the green, Silver up 0.95%

MCX Gold futures are trading with gains today. The benchmark Dec-26 contract is up 1.24% at Rs 147650 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 147100-147995 per 10 grams.The counter has declined 2.18% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter retreated by 2.70% to 17202 lots. The metal inched down by 1.75% in last session.


Silver is higher by 0.95% at Rs 210324 per kg. The open interest in the counter eased by 1.80% to 20429 lots. The metal tumbled by 4.96% in last session.


In global equities, US markets are set for a positive start. DOW futures risen slightly 0.47%. In Europe, FTSE 100 ticked up 0.79% and CAC 40 edged up 0.52%.
