Crude Oil firm, Natural Gas down 2.17%

MCX Crude Oil futures are firm in evening trade today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Oct-26 contract is firmly higher by 1.42% at Rs 9080 per barrel. US equities are edging lower with Dow Jones Industrial Average is inching down 0.10% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 9144 per barrel today and have seen a decline of 2.40% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is extending gains for fourth consecutive session. The counter inched up by 0.23% in the day session till 6.00 PM.


MCX Natural Gas is significantly lower by 2.17% at Rs 306 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 303-317 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter increased sharply by 21.35%.


Natural Gas has added around 3.92% in the last one week while Crude Oil has gained around 3.77%.
