Crude Oil soaring, Natural Gas down remained flat

MCX Crude Oil futures are deep in the green today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Oct-26 contract is significantly higher by 2.06% at Rs 8914 per barrel. US equities are slightly lower with NASDAQ Composite is inching down 0.16% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8958 per barrel today and have seen a modest decline of 1.99% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is up for third consecutive session. The counter rose by 1.04% in the day session till 6.00 PM.


MCX Natural Gas remained flat at Rs 290 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 285-292 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter surged 16.26%.


Natural Gas is down around 4% in the last one week while Crude Oil has edged lower by 1.03%.
