Copper up 0.62%, MCX Zinc remains steady

MCX Copper futures are are in positive territory, moving up by 0.62% at Rs 1379 per kg right now. The counter remained flat in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures touched an intraday high of Rs 1381 per kg today and have recorded a slight drop of 0.60% in the open interest. US equities are advancing with NASDAQ Composite is advancing 1.42% on the day.MCX Copper is higher for fourth consecutive session.


In other metals, Aluminium is slightly higher by 0.62% at Rs 351 per kg, Zinc is marginally higher by 0.35% at Rs 415 per kg, Nickel is trading slightly lower by 0.10% at Rs 1616 per kg while Lead is slightly lower by 0.05% at Rs 197 per kg.


MCX Zinc is up around 0.01% in the last one week followed by Copper, which is down around 1.44%.
