Crude Oil soaring, Natural Gas down 1.25%

MCX Crude Oil futures are deep in the green today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Sep-26 contract is substantially higher by 1.55% at Rs 8730 per barrel. US equities are posting solid gains with NASDAQ Composite is climbing 1.38% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8788 per barrel today and have seen a sharp increase of 17.35% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is extending gains for fifth consecutive session. The counter remained flat in the day session till 6.00 PM.


MCX Natural Gas is lower by 1.25% at Rs 276 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 275-286 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter increased sharply by 11.08%.


Crude Oil has jumped 8.86% in the last one week while Natural Gas has risen around 0.25%.
