MCX Gold futures are trading in the green today. The benchmark Sep-26 contract is higher by 0.89% at Rs 153300 per 10 grams. The intraday range was Rs 152776-153977 per 10 grams.The counter has collapsed by 4.23% over last one-week.The open interest in the counter tumbled by 92.40% to 527 lots.

Silver is slightly higher by 0.59% at Rs 239805 per kg. The open interest in the counter climbed by 2.34% to 33216 lots.

In global equities, US markets are likely to open on a positive note. DOW futures edged up 0.61%. In Europe, FTSE 100 ticked up 0.69% and DAX Performance Index moved up 0.40%.

MCX Copper futures are marginally higher by 0.26% at Rs 1374 per kg.
