Natural Gas rallying, Crude Oil up 0.27%

MCX Crude Oil futures are with modest gains today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Sep-26 contract is marginally higher by 0.27% at Rs 8560 per barrel. US equities are trading in positive territory with S&P 500 is trading slightly higher by 0.63% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8634 per barrel today and have recorded a strong rise of 4.41% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is moving higher for fifth consecutive session. The counter edged higher by 0.67% in the day session till 6.00 PM.


MCX Natural Gas is sharply higher by 1.52% at Rs 281 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 277-282 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter dropped sharply by 8.62%.


Crude Oil has rallied 8.90% in the last one week while Natural Gas has added around 2.55%.
