Crude Oil higher, Natural Gas down 3.43%

MCX Crude Oil futures are firm in evening trade today in evening trades. The benchmark MCX Sep-26 contract is firmly higher by 1.47% at Rs 8273 per barrel. US equities are edging lower with S&P 500 is moving lower by 0.29% on the day. MCX Crude Oil futures hit a high of Rs 8404 per barrel today and have seen a sharp increase of 18.52% in open interest. MCX Crude oil is up for fifth consecutive session. The counter dropped by 1.34% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Natural Gas is substantially lower by 3.43% at Rs 262 per MMBtu. The counter moved in a range of Rs 261-270 per MMBtu today. The open interest in the counter jumped 16.63%. Crude Oil is up around 3.95% in the last one week while Natural Gas has risen around 1.01%.
