MCX Evening Update: Local Gold futures supported amid sliding INR

MCX Gold futures are witnessing choppy moves but edged up from lows amid sustained weakness in the Indian Rupee. Indian Rupee fell further as a spike in Crude oil prices after the US President Donald Trump rejected Iran's response to the American peace proposal. INR lost around 35 paise at 95.63 per US dollar. MCX Gold futures saw good support around Rs 153100 per 10 grams mark and pushed higher in evening moves. It currently trades at Rs 153927 per 10 grams, up 0.17% on the day. COMEX Gold futures are down 0.27% at $4565 per ounce, easing from a near three-week high.
